Although this was my fourth time going to Death Valley (the last time I went I was in 5th or 6th grade), I felt like I was seeing everything for the first time. Maybe it was just because I matured into an adult since I last went. Maybe it was because photography taught me to look at things differently. Or maybe it was just because I have absolutely terrible memory. Whatever the reason, I now understand all the more why, as a kid, I always wanted to go back.
